Sainsburys environmentally friendly store

Sainsbury's has unveiled its most environmentally friendly stores to date. The retailer has described the two stores in Leicester and Weymouth as ‘Triple Zero’ meaning that they produce zero carbon emissions from all operational energy used; zero waste goes to landfill; and the store has zero impact on the water usage of the local catchment area because of its ‘Water Neutral’ status.
